After watching the very stars fall from the sky, what is Nora to do next? This should be enough to prove to her friends that the rapture has happened, but no such luck. They were all once so close, but now they are divided into believers and non-believers and trying to get along with as little drama as possible, no such luck on that account either.

Now full of faith, Nora just wants to get to the end of these bowl plagues and see if she gets to see Jesus on the other side. Her love for Jaime and her curiosity for Pastor John constantly reminds her how human she is, love and lust making it hard for her to focus on God.

Nora tries to feel safe in a world where Christians are starting to be persecuted for their faith all while trying to live in her beautiful bubble of dating an up-and-coming rockstar who loves her with all his heart but doesn’t believe in God. She wants to live by her faith yet pretend that everything is all right, but society is changing, and a worldwide government has taken over, declaring open season on Christians.

When mountains fall and one-third of the world mysteriously dies, Christians are blamed, hated, and hunted for the calamities of the earth. Soon Nora and her friends must accept facts and realize that they may be next. To go from touring with a band to hiding away in Ash’s mansion isn’t fun. With Christians being jailed, enslaved, or flat out murdered, going beyond the mansion gates can have fatal consequences. Not used to hiding themselves, Nora and her friends try to return to normalcy despite the targets on their backs. Nora and her motley family refuse to live in fear, but at what cost?

Eye am a woman who lives in Northern California in the midst of giant ancient redwoods next to the ocean surrounded by mountains and sky. Eye am very blessed by this. Eye love to write, and eye love people. Half the time eye have a hard time connecting with people because eye live in my head, the other half of the time eye connect with people so well eye cry…so eye write.

Nadia Duerson was born on a military base called Camp Pendleton in San Diego County, CA and grew up a military brat in Clovis in Fresno County, CA. She spent her teens to 30s in Indianapolis, IN with the one set goal of getting back to her home state of California. In 2015 she was finally able to do this. One could say she is bi-western (claiming to be from the West Coast and the Mid-West), as both regions had a part in creating who she is just as much as her parents. She now lives in Humboldt County, CA among the gigantic, ancient, redwoods surrounded by mountains smack dab next to the Pacific Ocean. She feels very blessed by this.

If you like drama, and living vicariously through outrageous, exciting, and realistic characters, you’ll love the ‘For the Masses’ series. These books aren’t about the apocalypse, they are about the people who go THROUGH the apocalypse while dealing with extreme emotions and deciding if they should believe in God and Jesus or not, despite everything going on around them.

I really liked this book. Having said that I'm giving a HUGE disclaimer. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL CHRISTIAN STORY LINE! You should be at least an older teen-adult for this series and not squirmish reading through sins. This book is about the difficult choices that plague each of us. It's about how we choose or not choose to deal with our sins. The sins in this book range from alcoholism, drug addiction, and sex. Yes, there are details. That's life. It's real which is why I actually liked this book. It's not Hallmark-y. Each character struggles to find God. Each makes serious mistakes. Each is human. But the end game is to make it to heaven. They take their time learning from their mistakes as well as those of their friends. And they have to choose repentance and Jesus or not. Nadia did a good job with the gritty details of real life for those struggling with sin. Use discretion for this one.

Fabulous, it was amazing how quickly I became connected to the characters in the story. The Conversations are so authentic and engaging. I haven’t finished the book yet but I’m looking forward to all of the twists and turns that is so far kept me At the edge of my seat. I can’t wait for the next book series!

I could not put this book down!!! The storyline and characters drew me in. I found little pieces of myself and my experiences in the characters and what they are going through. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve yelled and screamed with Nora and her squad. Ms. Duerson delivers so much in this action packed masterpiece!!! Every bit of my literary soul was satisfied with this work. I cannot wait for her next installment!!!

I recommend this read to anyone who enjoys reading period. I am so inspired by the Author’s creative characters and where she takes you during this story. I love the communication between her characters and the dialogue they share. Kept me reading and I look forward to book 2.

It is a very exciting story with 11 characters that seem to be extensions of the author, however, are all interesting characters. The author must have been at 1 time a non believer in Christianity. As far as stories of the rapture go, this one is truly exciting by starting off with characters who are non believers and eventually believe that the carpenter from Nazareth is the Son of God. There's not a lot of biblical quotes thrown at you, only the pure teachings of Jesus. As as the characters realize there is something wrong with the world as so many people have suddenly disappeared, they have to find their own way. Pay close attention to the characters Nora and Ash. What is revealed to them is the magnum opus of revelations. The only thing I wanted to throttle the author about was a book that long which kept my interest is a cliffhanger!! I am now on book 2. If you buy this series buy all 3 of them. I did simply because I was in the mood for a trilogy.

Nora and her friends life will leave you in a state of wow! The challenges they faced were unreal. I enjoyed it and I’ll be reading part 2.
